Two Baronesses and a blind man tell their stories of disability today. The film is produced by three disabled adults with whom I have twice before made documentary films.
The first two were about them; this third one is looking at the world around them. They talk with Tanni Grey-Thompson and Baroness Jane Campbell, a legendary campaigner for disability rights. Both now sit in the House of Lords on the Cross Benches.
Joining them in the film is Mike Newman who was born blind, had a full career in banking becoming a bank manager, but now runs a charity for disabled people to try their hand at driving a racing car on a racetrack. For good measure he set world land and water speed records in excess of 200mph and 100mph respectively.
All three contributors are outstanding people and role models to us all.
