The Community TV Trust website has now moved onto the iphone making it easier to access and surf while on the move.
Following the relaunch of the CTVT website in early 2009 this additional platform allows those who have an iPhone or iTouch to access the website easily, quickly and with the option to view the site in two ways: iPhone friendly or as it appears on any browser.
Traditional broswing will show the website the way that it will appear in Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Opera etc.
However, if a user reaches the website from heir iPhone or iTouch they will be presented with a different theme made possible by the WPTouch plugin for the powerful WordPress platform upon which the CTVT site is based.
Below are screen shots of how it appears using this method. If youd like to see it this way then try it on your iPhone, iTouch or borrow one from a colleague. (Those without access to these bits of kit can always download iPhoney and emulate it on their desktop.
iPhone/iTouch users also have the option to view the site in the traditional way by using a switch in the footer of the site.
