We are planning to celebrate our tenth anniversary as an active member of the UK’s community media sector with screenings in Southwark at various venues. Community TV Trust was accorded charitable status in summer 2000 since when it has increasingly reached into the Southwark community via schools, groups and organisations. Recently Southwark Council has called upon CTVT services a number of times. Our current production of a documentary about the borough’s mosques, their history and current issues has led to a widening of our relationships with ethnic communities. We are shortly to start filming for a project with the travellers community, also for Southwark Council.
